I’d found her on Facebook on a rental group, after several different properties she showed me I agreed to rent a property through her. At the time the property was advertised as fully furnished upon rent renting it was barely furnished, several thousand paid to furnish the property. She also requested an agency fee which she asked to be paid half cash half on card. She also asked that the rent be paid in cash as well as the deposits. She had also openly admitted that the landlord wanted the rent to be paid in cash in order to avoid paying taxes. We then had to cancel the contract 6 months in due to medical and financial reasons, i then began getting threats which ended up having to get a solicitor and police involved. Her son then began sending threats of violence.
